Mental health is emerging as an increasingly serious problem. Unfortunately, the stigma and misinformation surrounding mental health issues remain prevalent, preventing people from seeking help and support.

In the ongoing fight against the stigma surrounding mental health every little bit of effort matters. Therefore, with the adolescents from the “Hidden Likes” Youth House, we devoted part of today to attempts to raise awareness, improve understanding of mental health and destigmatize mental by distributing informational material.

The stigma often thrives in silence and ignorance. Informational materials can break this cycle by encouraging open dialogue. They encourage people to talk about mental health without judgment. These conversations can lead to greater understanding, empathy and ultimately removal of harmful stigmas.

Spreading informational materials is a seemingly simple, but powerful strategy for change and building a more empathetic society.
