Association PINS (Help for Integration, Employment, Socialization) was created with the aim to involve the persons with different (mainly spiritual) special needs into active and possibly fruitful life. It is orientated to every interested and suffering person and our activities are to help the promotion and support the inclusion of disabled persons.

Association PINS derives also from the concept POPCULTURE – in this case meaning the culture of mental care. In cooperation with the socially responsible business community and private sponsors, the association supports people in Latvia affected by mental disorders. The movement’s main aim is to reduce the stereotypes and fears associated with these diseases, so that mental care becomes a part of everyday life and culture. In addition, raising funds for persons diagnosed with mental disorders is necessary to offer them professional, psychological support, certain environment and therapy. That is why Association PINS provide also advocacy, social services on rehabilitation and training.
